Sadly, It’s My Least Favorite of All My Kizer Knives.

I own 30 Kizer knives. I absolutely love them all except this one. The detent on it is at best, just ok. There’s no snap or weight to it at all. Maybe it’s the acrylic handle or maybe I just got a bad blade. When opening, the blade feels like it has no weight at all and the handle feels like lightweight plastic and (I hate to use the word) cheap like there’s no substance to it. It is nothing like all my other Kizer knives that feel solid and balanced. I’d be afraid to use this one on anything for fear of it breaking. I should have returned it after buying but hoped it would grow on me. Perhaps the other Drop Bear knives are better than the acrylic. I’m basing my opinion on all the other solid Kizer knives I own. Sadly, I never reach for this one when opening my knife case. When I go through it and handle each knife, this one still disappoints due to the lightweight blade, plastic feeling handle and lack of snap when opening and closing the knife. It just feels “cheap” (there’s that word I hate to use again). Sorry Kizer. I’m still a big fan and still believe your knives are far better than any other brand but the Drop Bear Acrylic, or at least the one I received, just doesn’t measure up to the high standard I’ve come to know and love from your brand.

Perfect pocket companion.

The texture on the handle offers a nice grip. Makes the knife feel secure in you hands and easy to use.

Have and will purchase again.

Spear point tip in a decent steel. Comfortable, affordable and usable; what more could you ask for. Comfortable in pocket, perfect EDC size and the build quality is on point. Everyone needs one on there dresser.

Clearly a winner

I have been eye balling the Drop Bear for sometime. When the clear one dropped I knew I had to have it. Great action, fit, and finish 10 out of 10

Could have been better

I like the look of the acrylic and the drop bear was just as excellent as we have come to expect. My only issue is the steel liners….. the “chrome” look to them, honestly felt a little cheap to me. Would have preferred those in more of a matte finish. But it is still a good value with the nitro-V steel.
