Great locking mechanism

The “button liner lock” that is the best lock type kizer has to offer in their pocket knives. I recommend the mini grouper because it is one of the few models that use it.

First I was not sure of what I was getting …then when I received it and flicked it open , and played with it…I realized what a good deal I had made..beautiful knife

Overall, a very good looking and nice carry knife. Would prefer more texture on the scales, very smooth. The action snaps open with the flipper and button lock; however, the thumb stud deployment is very hard to use, regular or reverse. Could just be that mine needs some oil or more usage, time will tell. Excellent jimping in all the right places.
