Description

Design Features

Cabox was designed by designer Jonathan Styles. The Cabox is the highest point in Newfoundland. The design is inspired to be skinning and field processing knife.

New Fixed Blade Knife Design

a. With the peeling and processing knife as the starting point of the design, in order to better serve the purpose of use, a drop point and a wide and long blade are set.

b. The blade is made of D2 steel, the blade and parts are all stonewashed, and the handle is black rough-grained Micarta, which has a good grip.

Convenient

The blade is equipped with a blood groove, which is not easy to stick to the cut object during peeling and other operations, so that it is convenient to use.

A wide finger ring is set at the end of the handle, which is commonly used to secure fingers for ease of use.

Safety

The setting of semi-circular finger relief not only is wide and comfortable, but also improves the safety during use.

Rust prone

I took all precautions with my new knife I treated it with mineral oil to protect it from rust. Well I skinned a deer and used my brand new knife and after I was done I cleaned and washed the knife and the next morning I had rust on my brand new knife!!

My Cabox

I love my Cabox. It did arrive needing a slight edge adjustment but in no time I had it slicing paper. I now have two Kizer knives and look forward to getting another one.

Fun fixed blade, could be better

Great blade size and shape. I wish it had more of a thumb rise and jimping for better control and a slightly thicker handle for cleaner grip. With the current blade it'd be nice if the loop was in the choil area and it had a firm fixed but. Decent sheeth but the loops are made from cheaper material. I attached the sheath to a different style holster.
