DESCRIPTION

Rapids, a fine liner lock outdoor knife, which is designed by Carlos Elstner. It is made with 154CM stainless steel, which contains 14% of Chromium and offers great corrosion resistance. The Rapids can be opened with a thumb stub on the drop point blade. Its handle is made of G10 + Micarta in green & black color. Rapids is fit for most kind of daily tasks with its classy drop point blade shape. it will be your most carried EDC knife for sure!

An Incredible Light-Use Knife

The Kizer Rapids is a very “slicey” knife that has a comfortable handle. The liner-lock is easy to use with a nice cut-out. It has very smooth action with a great detent. The Rapids is an excellent light-use knife due to its thin blade and lack of jibbing which doesn’t take anything away from its use. I strongly recommend it. The Kizer Rapids is very fun to use.

Smooth with a kick

The rapids is one to keep!

It has some smooth action, when opening or closing it, but with a little kick to it when opening.

The micarta scales are nice and soft but also have enough grip to them to feel safe in hand.
The thumbstuds are contributing to the smoothness as well. They are very well placed and have got enough space around them to open the knife. The decision to place them more up the spine of the blade is far from a bad one.

For the price it is you really get some great "Bang for your buck"!

Incredible

This is manufactured so well. The detent is strong. Liner lock is smooth and strong. The handle feels great. It's not the most ergonomical knife Ive used, but it still fills the hand well. Blade is very sharp from the factory. Highly recommend this.
