The blade of this Begleiter 2 is made of 154CM material. 154CM Steel Blade delivers excellent edge retention, and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for heavy cutting applications. We have designed anti-skid gears on the upper edge of the knife for higher safety.

Micarta Handle

This Begleiter 2 has a grey Micarta handle. Micarta has a soft feel in the hand and possesses an aggressive grippiness.

  • Unique button lock. In this Begleiter (XL), our way of locking the knife is different from previous designs, we designed a button lock for this knife. This is a new design by Azo that realizes the combination of Begleiter and button lock.

Big and Beautiful Fidget Monster!

I have large hands and have the begleiter and the original button lock which are both great knives but I wanted something with some size to EDC at work and this thing is awesome! Very sharp out of the box, the scales look great, the stone wash is nice and the action is smooth! If it's on Sale buy it twice!

Nice design, mine had a flaw

Love the size, the blade shape, just about every detail about the knife except the button lock. Found my button lock to be defective.

Big Swing

The weight feels good. I feel confident carrying this day to day and on the job (LEO). I will say, the studs on the blade don't feel great when trying to flick. The ramp on the back is decent but I struggle when my hands are either sweaty and or just moist. Thankfully the button system works like a charm. Over all. Great knife. Sharp. Looks good. Opening mechanisms misfiring slightly.

I love this thing!

I'm so glad I bought this knife. The micarta is amazing and the 4 inch blade flips out with a solid THUNK. The button lock is solid as well. All in all, I am stoked at getting this for 51 bucks.
