Feels great, ridiculously sharp!

The V5488C5 with its micarta handle gives a welcoming feeling right when you put that knife in your hand for the first time and it's obvious that it's made for bigger hands. Opening the blade happens smoothly and finishes with a satisfying click. The balanced feeling of it's blade to handle ratio makes it easy to handle contrary to the impression of the sheer size of this knife. The warmth and grip of the micarta handle gives a natural feeling to its user which makes it a sensation to use it. In my opinion the black stone wash of the blade makes it feel really valuable and it's that sharp that you don't even feel when you accidentally cut yourself.This version of the Sheepdog XL wasy first Kizer knive but it won't be my last one!

Totally dissatisfied.

I have 6 kizer Sheepdogs & another one on the way. I have a good idea of what they are supposed to look like.

The black coating on the blade of the one sent from this outfit is not the same as my others. It’s splotchy, not as even & the color isn’t the same.

The “micarta” handles are not the same. The one I got from this company is more of a plastic. The way the blades are made is not the same either.

The markings on the blade of the one sent from here are wrong compared to 6 other Sheepdogs. The pictures you post on your site are not the knife you sent me.

I feel totally ripped off by this company & now they have discontinued talks of a refund. Buyer beware!!
