Design Features

Torngat is designed by Jonathan Styles, a new designer. The designer takes "functional art" as the design concept to design a knife with both appearance and functionality.

In shape design, the whole knife is irregularly arched. The handle is set with three grooves to connect the handle and lock bar. The shape of the blade is tanto shape. The cutting and stabbing functions of the knife are prominent.

Color Coordination

The whole knife with a combination of blue and metal primary color, highlighting the characteristics of futurism.

Classic Styles Touch

Initially it was very rough to use the opening hole for the front flick. After adding KPL heavy to the internals and inner track. It did the trick plus it just drops shut after freeing it from its lock. Love the blue ano accents on it!

incredibly disappointed

I absolutely love the style and shape of this folder. I like the distinct combination of colors (it's unique in my collection). The handle is very light and incredibly comfortable in my hand. The tanto blade is pleasing and the extended jimping over the thumb hole does an excellent job of gripping my thumb while pressing on it. The pocket clip does a good job of holding onto my jeans but can be pulled from the pocket with ease, and it actually adds a pleasant feel to the grip. Most other pocket clips IME actually ruin the grip of the knife they are on. The lanyard hole is also in a decent position for easy access.
My problem with this knife, and this one ruins any desire I have to ever carry it anywhere, is that the blade absolutely cannot be deployed one-handed via the thumb hole. The detent is too great and the thumb hole is too close to the pivot to provide enough leverage. The only one-handed way to open this beautiful knife is to grip that thumb hole between the thumb and two fingers and then fling the handle at the ground. The blade action is butter smooth, but what is the point when you cannot really move the blade from closed position without a second hand?
At least the CIVIVI Isham Anthropos has a flipper to deploy the blade you can use because the thumb hole is not useable. This knife doesn't even have that and costs several times more.

Titanium Tanto Torngat

Wow, fantastic action and nice tight lock-up. Great looks and drop shut action. Very useful tanto blade shape and a beautiful pocket clip too.

Better in real life

You may look at this knife in pictures, go a little gaga of over reviews, but please, my fellow Kizerians, you owe it to yourself to buy this knife. In real life, it's BEAUTIFUL ! Ergos are great, it feels incredibly solid, the blade is smoothly drop-shutty, and talking about the blade, it's ART. Gorgeous knife, in my Top 5 Kizers.
